Welcome to the third edition of the Bonfire weekly update!

Happy Monday, and welcome to issue #3 of the Bonfire weekly product update!

If you're just joining, this newsletter goes out weekly and highlights new product features, cool use cases we're seeing from around the community, and the occasional drop or giveaway. You can find past issues here.

Product Updates

🏹 Bounties (Beta): We're excited to announce the beta launch of our new Bounties feature! Bounties let you easily set up and manage challenges and contests for your community, rewarding contributors in your coin. Here are a few examples of what you can do with Bounties:

• Run contests: E.g. Run a meme creation contest, collect photo submissions, and review and approve the winner(s)

• Reward contributors: E.g. reward members for making contributions to your weekly newsletter

• Incentivize actions: E.g. set bounties for following you across platforms, collecting screenshots as proof-of-completion

We'll be fully unveiling this feature later this week at the Rally Developer Demo Day (see more below), with much more to come in next week's newsletter, but for now we're looking for a couple of folks who'd like to help us pilot the feature this week. If that's you, reply to this email and let us know :)

📆 Events this Week

Rally Developer Demo Day | Thursday, Aug 5th @ 12pm PT

You've probably heard by now, but Rally's hosting a demo day for the community developer ecosystem this Thursday! Mark your calendar to see all of the sweet tools and applications the awesome dev community has been building. The link will be shared in the Rally Discord prior to the event.

Bonfire Workshop | Friday, Aug 6th @ 12pm PT

In addition, we'll be hosting an informal workshop this Friday after the bi-weekly community call. We'll be going over some of the new features and how they work in more detail, as well as discussing some of the upcoming projects on our roadmap. Bring your questions and feature requests, or just come hang out and say hi!
