⚡️ Duplicate Pages + Sound Lounge Live Recap

gm, and welcome to issue #49 of ✨Spark✨.

This week we had a blast in LA. We cohosted Sound.xyz’s Sound Lounge Live at The Peppermint Club, a beautiful 60’s inspired live music lounge. We got to spend time with a few of our favorite creators IRL while enjoying some amazing performances by Iman Europe, The Park, Devin Tracy, Brandon Banks, and ABJO.

Definitely, a night to remember!

Bonfire Product Updates

🪄 Duplicate Pages:

We know that sometimes you finish creating a page and wow, it looks so good that you want to keep using it as a template. That’s why we’re introducing the ‘Duplicate Page’ option, bringing the ability to duplicate any of your pages with one click, all within your studio.

Hot tip: you can create a private template page that you duplicate every time you need it.

🪙 New Token Gating Interface:

Several small design improvements to not only the token gating flow but also the collection/contract importing. Cleaner, better, and more intuitive. Give that a go and let us know your thoughts.

⚙️ Studio Refresh:

Subtle but refreshing changes to the studio experience are now live. You might have already noticed, but the toolbar is now at the bottom with options to edit, delete, and move blocks up and down. Additionally, you now have a ‘+’ button to add a new block every time you need one.

Coming Up Next

Soon we will split your social icons section into its own block. Remember your profile block? Well, now profile and socials are going to be separate, plus we are introducing the ability to add a cover image to your profile block. Yes, we love customization!

Creator Spotlight

We had the pleasure of speaking with Connie, the creator behind CONNiE DiGiTAL. Connie has established a thriving digital career over the past nine years, refining his talents to tokenize his creativity. Read the full interview to learn about how he grew as a creative pioneer, but here are some takeaways:

  1. Connie has always been an artist. From growing up selling custom clothes at school to tokenizing the first song on the blockchain, Connie's creative pursuits have become grander in Web3. The power of the blockchain has allowed Connie the freedom to tokenize his creativity and have his work truly appreciated, no matter the medium.

  2. Do not be afraid to experiment. From tokenizing art and music to launching social tokens and being the first artist to mint a full song as an NFT, Connie is not afraid to step into the unknown. So experiment with new ideas and mediums and see where that takes you!

  3. Share with your community. In traditional creative spheres, the audience only sees the final product. However, in web3, we can share the entire process with our community. So share your techniques and stories – your community will be stronger for it.

Tip of the week

Embrace the lurkers. On average only 20-30% of members of online communities actually post or send messages. The rest are either inactive or lurking. But it’s important to note that lurking does not equal being inactive. They participate by skimming through content, the occasional emojis, and even sharing posts with their friends. Think of them as shy. So one way to engage the lurkers is by DMing them and asking them a simple question. Everyone likes feeling seen, even if they’re one of the shy ones.
