gm, and welcome to issue #41 of ✨Spark✨ Last week we were in Mexico City for our first team retreat. Even though we’re a tiny (yet mighty) team, we’re spread across the globe, working from 5 continents. So it was the first time many of us got to meet IRL and it was magical. Here’s a pic of our happy fam after some tacos and a tequila tasting.

Bonfire Product Updates

✨ Mint Block

A month ago we rolled out an integration with our first NFT minting platform Mintplex (formerly known as Rampp), which enables you to build custom contracts on Mintplex and import them to Bonfire, to design a custom mint page on your own site.

Today we’re excited to roll out the Mint Block, a major upgrade to that initial integration and a new foundation on which we’ll continue to expand our minting capabilities on Bonfire (another doozy of an announcement on this coming next week 👀).

🧩 Integrations Tab v2

Along with the Mint Block, we also released the v2 of our Integrations tab, redesigned to be more clear and useful in configuring and managing your integrations. While this upgrade is primarily cosmetic, we’ll be investing heavily in this tab throughout the rest of the year, with our next integration launching in just a couple weeks 🔥

🚀 Private → Open Beta

Lastly, we began testing our new self-serve onboarding flow last week so that we can begin working through the waitlist and extending more invites to join Bonfire. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be working through the waitlist before progressing to a more open beta phase of the platform, and we’re super excited to soon open the doors for all :)

While this may not be relevant to most of you as you’ve likely already onboarded, let us know if there’s anyone you think deserves to receive an invite and we’ll let them skip the waitlist!

Creator Spotlight

This week we hopped on twitter spaces to have a conversation with Alex Roth, the creator behind Supersigil and Zyla. As Supersigil, Alex has been working on creating nft collections that will ultimately lead to immersive theater in the metaverse. There, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in exploring his full album. Mint on Bonfire here.

Zyla is his newly launched web3 metalabel project. He’ll be working across mediums with a variety of artists who want to collaborate on experimental works of art. In Scene 1, he’ll be working with a visual artist, choreographer, poet, and videographer to bring his vision to life. You can attend the launch IRL on Sept 21st in London. Tickets here.

Since we launched native support for video last week, you can now recycle some of your greatest recorded livestreams into video content. So next time you have an incredible live session planned, remember to click record this session. From there, you should have a copy of the stream saved in the Livestream tab, under Recordings, and have the option to add to library.
