Bonfire Product Updates

We haven’t shipped anything new this week — but, we would really really appreciate your testing and feedback on some of our product updates from last week. As a reminder, we’ve got 3 new features that can make a big difference in streamlining your workflow and we’ve made them into bounties!

🗝️ Discord Token Gating

Why we buidtl it: We know discord is hard to use, but we still all use it. You probably have a lot of different kinds of community members on your server. From super fans to lurkers, each one can now belong in their own tier. You might want to give your super fans direct access to you, in a more exclusive channel where you share a different kind of content.

This integration allows for members in your server to connect their wallets, verify ownership and receive roles. To gate your server, go to Token Gates and create a new gate, or edit an existing one. Toggle on Manage Discord Role, and select the role that you want to connect to that gate. From there, it’s easy to create tiered groups within discord. Here's a guide on how to do it.

🤑 Twitter Bounty

Why we buidtl it: Bounties are a great way to get fans excited and engaged—at no cost to them! We’ll be creating a selection of templated bounties for frequent use cases, starting with Twitter ofc. For now, you can award bounties for quote retweets. That means you can easily amplify a specific message on social. Check out this example, from Mashi using the feature to bring attention to his remix contest. Here's a guide on how to do it.

💌 Email Collection Block

Why we buidtl it: Because you need this so badly. We get it. Crypto, privacy, decentralization. But some fans won’t mind getting emails from you, they’ll actually appreciate it. Once someone submits their email, it’ll show up on their collector profile, which you can find in the Community tab.Here's a guide on how to do it.
