gm, and welcome to issue #32 of ✨Spark✨ As you know, we threw an event during NFTNYC and the vibes were great. If you didn’t have a chance to attend, here’s a cute pic of part of our team meeting IRL for the first time. It’s nice to put a face to a PFP, so that’s us!

🏆 NFT Collection Block

This week we’re launching the NFT Collection block in Bonfire Studio, powered by Zora’s new NFT API! Using this powerful new block you can select from your imported eth NFT collections, and embed a gallery highlighting your collectors on any page.

Here’s how to use it.

Creator Spotlight:

Xcelencia dropped another great song this week and this time it was on Sound. He’s done an incredible job at pushing the envelope to make sure latin music is part of web3. He says, ”Reggaeton was rejected in the mainstream for years and now it’s the voice of the youth all over Latin America, the Caribbean, and people all over the world. Reggaeton pushes culture forward and I want to push it forward into web3.” The track Soltera came to him without much overthought, so you’ll wanna put on your dancing shoes for this one. Tip of the week

Right before a big drop, you’ll wanna try to bring as much attention to yourself as possible. No, we don’t mean all press is good press. But you should try to be present on social media & at events as much as possible. Line up speaking opportunities, engage on Twitter, host Spaces, perform live — do what you can to be top of mind. And then, once you’ve built up that buzz, do the drop.

As an example, right before Xcelencia’s Soltera drop, he and Sound hosted a twitter spaces and listening party which was a great way to bring attention to the song while making the drop itself community-oriented.
