Product Updates

🔐 Token Gating Upgrades

We just released a major update to our token gates: You can now gate by any asset on Rally and Ethereum. Let me repeat that for the people in the back - you can now token gate by any asset on Rally. And. Ethereum.

We see this unlocking a whole new world of opportunity - just to get the ideas flowing, here are a few we’re especially excited for:

• Creator Collabs: Organize collabs by creating gates that can only be unlocked by holding any or all of the assets from multiple creators (first team to put this in action wins 100 $RLY).

• Multi-Token / Multi-Chain: Unify your community by combining assets from multiple chains into a single gate. Have your creator coin on Rally, but are also minting NFTs on Ethereum mainnet? Want to create a gate for supporters who hold an NFT from multiple collections? Our token gates makes it easy.

• Supported by Every Feature: Create gates for airdrops, bounties, product/NFT drops, and pages (i.e. gate pretty much anything).

Coming soon: Support for Polygon + ERC-1155 assets on Ethereum, and support for token-gating Discord channels

🌈 Other

Aside from token-gating, we’ve also released a slew of more minor features:

• Page Builder Improvements: We’ve given quite a bit of love to our new CMS, including tons of polish and a new Embed block, which supports embeds from >20 platforms (and counting).

• Sign in with Rally: Remember how you used to have to make your community sign up for a separate Bonfire account in addition to their Rally account? Yeah, not anymore - now user’s can sign in with Rally directly, bypassing that additional step. Onboarding your community just got that much smoother.

Creator Spotlight: $TBT

We had a quick interview with contemporary artist, Eric Wesley & his collaborator, Eric Redling. They’re working on Timbuctoo Magazine, a quarterly print publication and are the creators behind the $TBT community. Here’s the full read.
